Not every friend would wait patiently and without complaint (at least to me) until February to receive their Christmas present. She's awesome! I'm so lucky to have her as a friend.
Time management was not my friend this winter. I debated for the longest time whether to make or buy a present and once I finally decided to make, it was to late (apparently) to get them done in time. I mistakenly thought that since both projects were made with big yarn on big needles they would go really fast.
Pillow #1:

Herringbone Button Back Pillow

I really wanted to go with big pillows because their couch is pretty big and I didn't want them to seem puny in comparison.

I like this one and think it will be a great pillow. The pattern was more complicate then I had anticipated, but it turned out pretty good in the end.
Pillow #2:

Circle Pillow or Big Red Dot as I affectionately call it.

I really liked this pattern. It was fast and easy and maybe a little boring, but that's nice sometimes. I think it would be fun to make one with smaller yarn so the pillow would be a little smaller.
That's it. I really hope she likes them especially since I was late getting them to her.
Thanks for reading.

I was just thinking about taking pictures of these! These are the most comfortable pillows in the whole world and we fight over them...not true...the kids know when i sit down they just have to hand at least one over! I didn't mind waiting...and love them...thanks!
I love them! Great job--and so special.
