Phyllis and Jenn

So far so good with the return to the working world.
I've been so impressed with our wonderful sitters. Ellie has never been crying when I go to feed her or pick her up. As a matter of fact, she's almost always being held. Between the two of them she is getting lots of attention. They give me detailed reports at the end of the day, so I don't feel like I missed to much. It's such a comfort to know that she's well taken care of.
I've also learned that they are better baby sitters to Levi then I ever knew. It's been nice to go at lunch and see them interact with him. They read stories everyday after lunch and he sits so nicely and listens to them. I was amazed.
What a blessing good day care is. It's been one of my biggest worries. I feel like a weight has been lifted to not have to think about this. Now I just have to deal with all the other Mommy guilt that comes along with returning to work.
Thanks for reading.

I'm very happy that returning to work was a smooth transition. It's never something you're ready for, but good daycare makes it so much easier. My son's daycare is like what you described, and it was an easy transition for me knowing that he is well taken care of. I never called to check on him, I just knew that he was fine & if he does have a problem they are quick to notify me.

Just makes our jobs that much easier. Hope all continues to go well for you!!!
