Where have all the See-Saws gone?

Steve and I were discussing last night how there aren't see-saws on playgrounds anymore. I don't think any of the parks in town have one. Was there some big out cry against the see-saw that I missed out on?
I'm seriously asking, some of you are teachers and may have some inside info. Did they decided see-saws were to dangerous or something? And what did they do with all the old see-saws?
Thanks for reading and hopefully answering this very important question.

We can't have see saws b/c kids don't let the other one know when he/she is getting off, therefore giving the one kid a huge knock in the ya ya! Plus, if a kid runs under them, they can get hurt pretty badly because a huge board is coming down straight on their head/neck. I myself, loved see saws...you have to drive HUGE distances to play on one...like Bible Grove:)

Andrea's right...kids are mean now and they are weenies and can't take a hit to the ya-ya or knock to the head!
