Seussisms

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday I thought I'd share some of his wonderful quotes. He must have been a heck of guy to talk to.
  • “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.”
  • “Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.”
  • “I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!”
  • “A person's a person, no matter how small.”
  • "I meant what I said, and I said what I meant, an elephants faithful, one hundred percent."
  • “I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, It's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, And that enables you to laugh at life's realities.”
  • “Adults are just obsolete children and the hell with them.”
  • “You're in pretty good shape for the shape you are in.”
  • "Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”
  • “You make 'em, I amuse 'em.”

You get the impression everything out of the mans mouth was quotable.

Thanks for reading.

I'm pretty sure Seuss started drinking heavily at the end of each one of his books...they make less and less sense toward the end!

That's true. I've always thought One Fish, Two Fish, took a strange turn somewhere in the middle.
