My Lazy Morning

Well, I've been tagged, so here is my very lazy morning routine.

  • 5:30- hit snooze
  • 5:40- get out of bed. Talk to the dog (generally always tell her good morning as she does her morning yoga.)
  • 5:41- Put in my contacts. (I can not function until my contacts are in. I hate wearing my glasses.)
  • 5:45- Shower. I use Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner generally. I was swayed by some very cheap Suave a while back. I hate it but it seems to be multiplying on me because it's the never ending bottle.

The Shampoo and Conditioner are the only thing I use I'm brand loyal on. With Body Wash I have developed an allergy to blue dye so I use whatever I can find that doesn't contain it, but haven't really found anything I like. (You would be shocked how much of it contains blue dye. It doesn't have to be blue. Red, white, violet, green,...generally contain blue dye too.) Face wash I change every time I buy, because I can't find one I like.
  • 6:00- Pick from my 8 piece maternity wardrobe and get dressed. (Sometimes I put on lotion, not very often, too lazy.)
  • 6:05-Comb and Spray Gel Hair. (I love my Pantene Curl defining spray gel, it's my friend.)

  • 6:10- Grab an Oatmeal square and watch Robin Meade on HLN. (HLN wouldn't really be my first choice for news, but we don't get network TV and Fox News makes me ill, so it's what I watch.)
  • 6:20- Shake my head in disgust at at least one of the stories on the news and then recount it to Steve who is never in the room during the really horrible stories.

  • 6:30- Make Levi breakfast and get him up and going. This generally involves taking him potty and a good 5 min. snuggle before we go sit down for his breakfast. (He's so funny, he wakes up like a teenager, all grumbly and contrary.)
  • 7:00- Levi and I play and watch a little TV while Steve finishes getting ready. I usually get Levi dressed sometime during Special Agent Oso, while he's telling me about his rocket or how he's going to rescue so-and-so.

  • 7:30ish- Out the door.

I really am a little embarrassed about this morning routine. No makeup, no perfume, no lotions really, I feel like I shouldn't even get to call myself a girl.

If you made it to this point in this post you really deserve a big fat Thank you so...

Thank you for reading.
