Merry Christmas to Me!

Last night was a very exciting night at my house. After over a year of coveting and trying to rationalize I finally found a good enough reason to break down and buy an early Christmas present for myself. (Technically I made Steve buy them, so they could be considered a Christmas present.) I went to start Christmas knitting project #3 and didn't have the right size needles. I was mad because I could have sworn I had that size but anyway... I've been eyeing this beautiful set of needles for some time, but I just couldn't justify buying them. Then last night I asked myself, "Self, do I want to buy another pair that would be in the set? OR just get the whole thing? I think we all know what I chose. I was very excited when I investigated and found out I only had two of the pairs that came with the set. Well that was good enough for me.
So, somewhere in the possession of the USPS is a little box on their way to my house with the cutest knitting needles you could ever hope to see inside.

They are Harmony Wood needles from Knit Picks and they're all mine.

I tried to find a picture to show you how pretty they are but I don't really think it does them justice.

I love them and I can't wait to knit with them. Surely this will be enough motivation to finish my Christmas knitting.
They make you all want to start knitting don't they? Oh, you don't have to say it I know they do.
Thanks for reading.

They are very pretty. I would love to know how to knit. Would you come to St. Louis and teach me?
