I'm finally getting around to sharing pictures from Ellie's birthday party.

My Grandma Forsythe, my mom and I made her super cute polka dot cake. It was our first time working with fondant. I think that we did a pretty good job. We made the cake the night before and I was very excited in the morning when all the dots hadn't slid to the bottom of the cake.

Ellie got lots and lots of cute clothes and several awesome girlie toys.

She was pretty into the present opening.

I love that it looks like she's really reading the card with me in this one.

I loved this tea pot. It goes perfectly with the kitchen we got her for Christmas.

I think the baby with it's own binkie was her favorite, mainly b/c she likes sharing the binkie.

I was shocked at the enthusiasm with which Ellie attacked her birthday cupcake. I didn't think she would eat it and wasn't sure she would even touch it. I was SO wrong, she devoured that cupcake!

I love this picture of Kaitlyn and Levi swinging with Grandma and Grandpa Forsythe.

After the party we let Ellie play with her balloons and a good time was had by all. This is the only picture I got that wasn't blurry from frantic movement.
Thanks for reading.

Very cute! Any close up pictures of the cake? Did you buy the fondant or make it from a recipe? I've thought about trying to use it before but never quite worked up the motivation.
I used the pre-made stuff. It worked really well. I wouldn't suggest eating it though.
Too Cute! Looks like fun!
