Yarn Bombing

I'm absolutely in love and infatuated with Yarn Bombing.
Yarn Bombing is an art form that essentially boils down to knit/crocheted graffiti. I think it's so fun and whimsical. I want to yarn bomb something or heck, I'd settle for seeing some in person.

We all know that I could never do this. I can't even finish the projects I have for actual people, let alone make cozy for a light post. But I think it would be so fun to.......
I mean come on, what black hearted person wouldn't smile if they saw a bus like this in their neighborhood.

It makes me more then a little sad that these will be taken down the next day and discarded.

All that lovely work, yarn, time wasted.

Oh well, I suppose the sheep will always make more.

This is the "Charging Bull" that is on Wall Street. If you would like to see a yarn bombing in action click the picture to watch Olek (the artist responsible) deck out this bad boy in lovely pinks and purples. If you do watch the video please be sure check out her awesome step ladder too.

I hope everyone has a hobby that brings them as much joy as sticks and string bring me.
Thanks for reading.
