I'm putting this story on my blog mostly because I want to remember it forever and ever. The proud mommy factor is only a small motivator.
Last night when I put Eliana in bed I went over to Levi and covered him up. As usual he was awake, so I gave him a hug and a kiss and told him night, night and that I love him. Then I whispered, "You're such a good boy." He whispered back to me, "You're such a good mommy." At which point I left the room and cried for 5 minutes. Steve laughed at me, but I don't care. I'll treasure those 5 words whispered in the dark for the rest of my life.
Thanks for reading.
