Fall Fun

Steve made Levi an awesome fort out of the box from our new love seat(pictures of it are coming..... eventually). I get a childish giggle out of the fact that his fort is brought to you by La-Z-Boy. My grandparents farm was always the Lazy L Ranch this is the La-Z-Boy Fort.

He had a ball decorating the sides with markers.
We finally had a nice fall day to play outside last weekend. Levi has been wanting to jump in the leaves for a month now.

Lazy Ellie played outside in her jammies. She often spends the entire day in pj's on the weekends.
Levi didn't so much jump in the leaves as he rolled in them spread them all over and made his dad rake them back into a pile.
The face of a sister watching her crazy brother frolic in leaves. I love those knitted brows.

Then we tried our hand at kite flying. Most of our time was spent untangling Levi from the string, but he loved it.
Okay, so much for fall fun, I'm ready for summer again.
Thanks for reading.

I love his fort! Colby used to be scared to death of kite flying. He would cry if I had him hold the string. Weird, huh?

What is it with kids and boxes?! If we were smart, we would all get them huge appliance boxes for Xmas instead of spending money on everything else! :) And I love, LOVE the close up of E's face--too precious.

Finally, I'm with you--can we skip winter?! I think I'm ready to move south!
