Here She Is!

I suppose I've been selfish and kept baby girl all to myself for long enough. So, with out further adieu....
We left for the hospital bright and early Fri. May 21st. I was nervous about getting Levi off to the sitters and getting to the hospital by 7 but everything went much smoother then I could have ever hoped.

One last before picture before we left the house.
My labor was much longer and more painful this time around then with Levi. So much for the theory that the second one will be easier. (Side note for all expectant mothers, don't be a hero get the epidural. I don't care what anyone else says I'll understand. If I had it to do over again I'd get it earlier.) Finally at 4:08 p.m. We had our beautiful baby girl.
Eliana Rae
Big brother was very impressed. He's not so sure about all the crying but he is definitely taken with her.
I got lots of complements on her hat, even though it was way to big for her.
Evidence to use in the future to prove that at least for a moment he loved her.
Home sweet home.
Power napping on the couch.
Eliana hanging outside while we played in the sprinkler.
I love those first sleepy smiles.
She's a doll. I'm so excited to watch her grow.
Thanks for reading.

Ahhhh....
I am so glad to get to watch you raise a girl. I giggle when we talk and you are exasperated with all the frill and lace:) I also love the picture of her outside while you are in the sprinkler. She looks like she's on the cement! Thanks for blogging...can't wait to see her again!

Congratulations!! She is a beauty :) I love Levi's expression in the picture of you napping. He looks very unhappy to be woken up.
