That I won't be using because I know to many people.
Elaine: I love this name but it creates an ugly family issue.
Elise: My bosses daughters names. Steve thinks we should use it anyway, um no.
Abigail: Forgive me Sara, I've suggested this name 3 times only to have Steve remind me we know an Abigail.
Kelly: Such a cute name but I'm related to one and his head would seriously inflate if I named my kid after him.
Eli: Darn friends who had kids before me and stole all the cute names. This is also pretty close to Levi and I could see that getting confusing.
Isaac: Same story as above.
Violet: Melissa.
Isabella: Melissa again. So mean stealing all the good names.
There are others I just can't think of them right now. It seems like every conversation we have about names ends with, "we can't use that name so and so named there kid that."
These are just the names that I like. Lets not even talk about all the names that are out because I don't like them.
I really think there is an advantage to having kids when you're young and don't know as many people. Or be the first of your group of friends to have kids so they can't steal all the good names.
Thanks for reading.

Hey, at least Steve remembers our girl. Thanks Steve. LOL. :) I really wanted Amelia for a girl, but got outvoted. I'll keep an ear open for adorable, unique names.
I suppose if you wanted to name the baby Lauren I wouldn't be TOO upset ;). and I've been trying to convince Jenn of how adorable the name Abigail is since Natalee was born...she won't give in. I'm sure you'll fall in love with something before too long though. Keep us updated!
Love, Lauren
Lauren was a consideration, but unless you're willing to part with it we have to pick something else.
I like Amelia too. Makes me think of the Pricess Diaries though.
I LOVE Amelia! I'm so glad that we had our kids before I had too many teaching years under my belt...you can only imagine all of the names that are out b/c of student experiences. I can't wait to find out what you pick!
It IS hard, isn't it?! And isn't it so funny how a name conjures up a feeling sometimes?
