Quick Questions

I've been shopping at JoAnn's yarn sale all day. (productive I know, stop judging me) Anyway, I would just like to ask for some opinions. I suck at coordinating things and I need some help.

So, If I made a baby blanket using the two following colors...

Coral

Plum
Would that go together? I think it would, but again I suck at coordinating. (I was totally that girl with the three shades of red on in Jr. High.)
Also, while I have your attention (that is if you haven't exited already). (Pretty sure that isn't a proper sentence.)
If I made another baby blanket (if you hadn't guessed I'm trying to prepare for the great baby boom of 2010) using the three following colors....
Lime

Violet

Teal

Would you consider that gender neutral? I know it has purple in it, but I think boys can pull that off in these modern times.
Opinions please!!!
P.S. I don't go for pastels. I like my baby stuff loud. I considered red but have heard recently that it's an aggressive color. (Wink, wink Jenn)
Sorry for the lame lack of substance in today's post. I will try and do better in the future.
Thanks for reading.

I don't go for pastels either...I still love the hat you made Natalee and love that, although gender neutral, it wasn't pastel! I love the last combo together...if you didn't want to do the purple you could do an orange or bright yellow but I think the purple is fine, even for a boy! If you did a lime green, canteloupe'ish' orange, and yellow it'd totally fit in my new baby room....not hinting or anything! :)

Love the girlie combo, too. I think pink and purple totally go together---however, I'm not the fashionista either. Better call Andrea! (or Lauren) :)

In my opinion both sets of colors go together. If you're worried about the one being gender neutral, do a smaller stripe of purple so it's not so dominant. Can't wait to see them.
