We had a great Halloween. Here is the whole sorted tail from beginning to end. If your not interest in every detail of our buildup and actual Halloween you should probably just exit now.
The
Jammies that started it all:
Levi loves Buzz Lightyear. Toy Story is his favorite movie, he calls it Buzz and wants to watch it everyday. (We don't, but he asks everyday) I found these cute PJ's and had to have them. Later I decided it would be awesome for Levi to be Buzz for Halloween, but I could not find a costume in his size. So, being the resourceful woman I am I decided the jammies would be a good enough costume. After all he's 2 and could care less, as long as there's candy in his pumpkin.

Wings:
Decided maybe this was to boring so splurged and also purchased inflatable wings to enhance the look.
Here is the little Space Ranger testing out his wings. Which, by the way, he love, love, loved. He wanted to wear them all the time but I had to be mean Mommy and hide them after the first night because they already had a hole I had to patch. (foreshadowing)

There are a few things I wanted to note about this picture. It made me laugh out loud when I saw it, I just had to share. A.) Levi running from one end of the house to the other for the 15,000 time. B.) Winnie trying to decide what to make of this situation. Oh, she's use to the running it was the wings that were freaking her out. C.) Sadly this is what my house looks like on Saturdays. There are toys strewn everywhere. We only pick up once a day, I don't see the point of doing anymore then that, but It looks like such a disaster it makes me laugh.
The Big Day:

The total effect was too cute. The best part was he loved it. He thought he was really something and couldn't wait to show it off to everyone. He was a real charmer all day. He said "Trick or Treat" and "Happy Halloween", which sounded more like Happy
Hawawawaween. Please also note the wings are less then completely inflated.

Not so sure about the bear Grandma D gave him. Now he loves it and has been sleeping with it.

Fascinated by the race on TV. Still at Grandma D., we had to have cookie while here. The first sugar of the day.

Tried to feed the ceramic dog at Grandma and Grandpa L's his M&Ms. Not very successful. Had half a Reese's cup. Please note that his wings are completely deflated. I blow them up between every stop but they only stayed up for a few minutes. Luckily Levi didn't care. By the end of the night I thought I was going to have a heart attack from blowing them up so many times. After this we went to Mike and Marti's where Ashley chased Levi for a while. While there he had a P.B. cookie. Went to Jenn's to see the
Tallman family. Laughed at Levi's reaction to Natalee trying to play with him. Passed out a few treats and then were off before Curtis could scare us. Stopped by Debbie and Eldon's, this is where I feel like the sugar high really started to show. I have never seen Levi so wound.

Final stop at Grandma and Grandpa Lancaster's for supper. He ran and played like crazy I wasn't sure we would ever get him to bed. I was so mad about the darn wings. I couldn't even get them to stay up long enough to get a decent picture.
This was the best Halloween yet. Levi really understood and had so much fun with it.
Bonus: Sugar coma helped to get him back on the right track after the time change. He didn't wake up until 7 on Sun.
Thanks to everyone who gave or sent us treats and to everyone who let us invade there homes for a while on Halloween.
Thanks for reading.
