Things have been crazy at work lately. I feel like I barely get time to breath. We have a serious hurry up wait thing going and are currently in the hurry up mode. I feel bad that I've been neglecting my lovely blog audience and decided I better at least give you an explanation.
Things are going great though. Work has been busy but not terribly stressful, which is a real switch. Steve and I had a great time celebrating our anniversary over the weekend. We took a shopping trip to Columbia and had dinner out. FYI men get much more into shopping trips when they get to buy toys for little boys. I wanted to make a serious dent in my Christmas list and all we ended up getting was toys for Levi and Kaitlyn. Oh well, we had fun. Steve has also tried all week to get me to go ahead and give Levi his presents so that he (Steve) can play with them. I hope Levi likes what we got him or Steve will be so disappointed.
Levi continues to be his adorable sassy self. Mon. I made a cake for our anniversary. It didn't get done until after we had already put Levi in bed. We were sitting in the living room eating, apparently where he could see us. He starts yelling, "I want cake! I want cake". I'm a terrible mommy because I gave in went and got him and let him have a few bites. After all he deserves to celebrate too. He's also starting shushing me. This has not been going over well. When I tell him he is not to shush mommy. He say, "be quite mommy." and so our conversations go. That's right, I participate in frivolous arguments with my two year old. I refuse to be silenced by a toddler.
Hopefully I'll be back to blogging regularly soon. Until then....
Thanks for reading.

as always you gave me a giggle!
arguing with a toddler...for shame!
I LOVE Levi...he cracks me up. I totally would have given him cake too. We use to let Colby get up and eat popcorn. He could smell it a mile a way. It was so funny. Glad that you had a great weekend...tell Steve to forget about the toys, it'll make the wait go more quickly!
