My dad made me a wonderful birthday present that I had specifically requested. He finished it and gave it to me early. I was so excited about it. I had been wanting one of these for a while now. All I had to do was stain and paint it and get it in the house.
Two months later and I finally finished it.
Please take a moment to eww and aww over my b-day present.
My beautiful new entryway bench. A big thank you to my not so cooperative model .
He likes to pretend that his view master is a camera. Anyway, I'm planning to get baskets to put underneath it, but haven't done it yet. Anyone want to bet on how long it takes me to get that done?

It's gorgeous! I love it too. Let's not talk about procrastination....have you seen my house? How many room have shelves leaning against a wall not hung up? Oh well....
i love my bench in my laundry room. i think i am going to have to get a bigger one b/c as the kids grow so do their feet so then their shoes get bigger and then the baskets won't hold as many shoes and BOOTS!!
