Only in America

In Honor of the 4th of July a short list of things that (I'm guessing) you only see in America.

  • You see people who are famous for being famous.
  • People criticize the military for getting involved in foreign affairs and for not getting involved in foreign affairs.
  • People who take pride in our religious freedom when it's their religion it's protecting and protest it when it's protecting the beliefs of those who believe differently then them.

I'm going to stop there because I really didn't mean for this to be a negative post. It's just how things came out when I was typing. I'm thankful that I have the freedom to be so hypocritical. I don't think I really have any idea what life must be like for people who lack the freedoms we enjoy so thoughtlessly.

I hope everyone has a fun and blessed 4th of July and remember what it is we're celebrating.

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" Emma Lazarus

Thanks for reading.
