Beautiful Bonnet

I made this bonnet for a co-worker. She already had three boys and just had her first girl. I wanted to make her something that was super girlie. I thought this pink was perfect. This morning I added a white ribbon around the bottom for a tie closure. I'm pretty proud of it. I thought it turned out really cute.

This is my first attempt at any sort of lace. I was a little shocked how easy it was. Anyway, she's bringing the baby by work this morning and I can't wait to see her in her little pink bonnet.

By the way, for anyone interested in this or most of the other patterns I use they are available free on Ravelry. Ravelry is free to join and then you just search by the type of pattern you want. This one is called the Feather and Fan Bonnet. I know most of you don't knit but I did have one request for a pattern so I thought I would share.

Thanks for reading.

It's gorgeous and how fun it will be to put it on that little girl. Glad you got it finished!
