This is in Novinger. There use to be a house attached to that porch. The Novinger Baptist Church. You can't see it very well in the picture but there is a whole line of Amern U.E. trucks working west of Novinger.
Leaning poles and torn up trees going east of Novinger.
This is where the tornado crossed hwy 6 at. Again it's hard to see in pictures, but the gap in the trees didn't use to be there. This road is the next one down from our house. The turn in for our house is at the top of the hill.
Wire Rope's building. The part in gray was where the big gaping hole was at. They worked Thursday despite the hole in their building. Gotta love the sheer determination of Missourians.
This is another building on Industrial Road with the roof ripped off.
The water tower. You can see the sheet metal wrapped around the scaffolding.
We saw this tornado intercept vehicle at the intersection of Wal-Mart. I think they were a little late.
One of the cars at Jim Robertson's. I like that you can see the boom truck in the background.

The sign for the housing development across from Jim Robertson's. I think it's crazy that it peeled off the letters.
I was very proud of our community yesterday. Everyone really pulled together and helped one another out. I have to say I was also really proud of SunBrite. They donated everything they had available to help, Linen to the Ameren workers, trucks to families who needed to move there stuff, money for food to Novinger Fire Department, there labor to patch roofs in Lakeside Estates. I suppose it's not right to brag on them, but they won't get any publicity for those things so surely this little bit of bragging won't hurt.
