Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next. Amen.

I find myself repeating this over and over today. I need serenity and it's not coming. I pray for the end of the day when I can go home and see my family. Find my peace and happiness in this day. Here's hoping I can make it a couple of more hours with out hurting someone.
Thanks for reading.

Corin,

I'm sorry you're having a day that requires this prayer. Be thankful that you are going home to a family that will fix it, not a situation where you need it even worse!! And just think, the long holiday weekend is almost upon you! Keep your chin up. Thank you for sharing the prayer! Love ya!

Said a prayer for you Corin. I don't know why you can't see your family (I am not up to date on your story) but I hope you are able to see them soon. I pray God grants you that serenity.
